After all these years (1973), this song is still amazing. The whole concept of the album, from cover design to the song arrangement, it is just truly amazing.
What was in these people heads back then?? This is what music is all about, with depth, feeling and power.

    man... that's truly timeless...
    u brought back my memory - one time we danced to "The great gig in the sky". the music is just so moving. Always wanna cry in listening and dancing that.
